Mark Williams RPh, CEO
Mark is co-founder of True Rx Management Services and has been CEO since the company’s inception in 2006.
A fourth generation pharmacist, Mark has more than 20 years of retail pharmacy experience. With his two brothers, he owns and operates a small chain of independent pharmacies. His background as a pharmacy owner has given him the insight to enable True Rx to produce a business model that optimizes prescription drug benefits for employers and employees. His passion to start a PBM comes from wanting to change the current PBM model to one that is truly transparent.
Mark is a graduate of Pharmacy at Purdue University in 1984. He is a member of the National Community Pharmacy Association and National Home Infusion Association.
Nathan Gabhart RPh, COO
Nathan is co-founder of True Rx Management Services and has been its Chief Operating Officer since its inception.
Nathan started as a pharmacy manager in Princeton, Indiana, with Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in 1998. After five years he moved up to Vice President of Pharmacy Operations; overseeing eight pharmacies in both retail and long-term care settings. With more than 10 years of pharmacy experience, Nathan has seen firsthand some of the current PBMs’ downfalls. His extensive knowledge of pharmacy and passion to run a transparent PBM is what helped lead to the formation of True Rx.
Nathan earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from Purdue University. He also has served on the Board for Indiana Pharmacy Alliance and Community Pharmacies of Indiana.
John C. Bell, Executive Director
John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and Contracting from Purdue University. After graduation, John worked for two general contractors in Indianapolis for 5 years and then moved back to his hometown of Jasper to work for Kimball International for the next 7 years. There he was the Project Manager for Special Orders in Customer Service before working as the liaison between the sales and manufacturing divisions as the Quality Assurance Manager.
John joined Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in 2000 as Director of Operations and was then promoted to Chief Operating Officer. As COO, he is responsible for strategic planning; operational efficiencies; fiscal financial planning; managers’ training; oversight of construction and remodels; evaluation of new markets and acquisitions; trustee and plan administrator for 401k retirement plan; purchasing and inventory; and maintenance of all grounds and facilities. John became Executive Director for True-Rx in 2009 where he spearheads the strategic and fiscal financial planning.
Malinda Lavely, Regional Account Manager
Malinda provides businesses, third party administrators, brokers and consultants with the information needed to make an informed decision about choosing a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). She facilitates detailed claims comparisons for organizations that want to be sure their PBM is giving them the best service and greatest savings possible. A native of Vincennes, Indiana, Malinda is a graduate of Purdue University where she earned a bachelor's degree. She gained nearly 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including six years as a pharmaceutical sales executive with GlaxoSmithKline, before joining True Rx.
